Kindergarten (3.8 years—6 years) 8:45 am – 1:00 pm

Before (7:30 – 8:45 am) & After (3:00 – 5:30 pm) School Care Programs are available.

We appreciate your interest in Waldorf School of New Orleans. Before you begin filling out an application, we ask that you schedule a school visit. This is your chance to see Waldorf Education in action and find out more about our programs. We offer Open Houses regularly. There are also very informative Parent Education Workshops available. Please fill out and turn in your application form via email or in person. There is a non-refundable $35 application fee.
You'll need to a release form to submit to your child’s current school to have your child’s records and / or teacher recommendations sent to Waldorf School of New Orleans.

AGE GUIDELINES
The mixed-age Kindergarten is suited for young children ages 3 years 8 months through age 6. A child must be 3.8 years old by August 15 prior to the beginning of the school year to be considered for admission to Kindergarten.

A child must be 6 years old by August 15 prior to the beginning of the school year to be considered for admission to First Grade.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAMS
Before School Care is available school days Monday through Friday 7:30 – 8:45 am. The monthly enrollment fee is $80 per child. The Drop-In Rate is $5 per child per morning.
After School Care is available FULL school days Monday through Friday 3:00 – 5:30 pm. The monthly enrollment fee is $120 per child. The Drop-In Rate is $10 per child per afternoon.

TUITION DISCOUNTS
We ask that every family do its best to subsidize full tuition. Any tuition discount granted to a family is not subsidized by any other entity and is a financial loss to Waldorf School of New Orleans. However, when needed, a tuition discount is granted annually on an individual basis. Any tuition adjustment will be based primarily on an analysis report of the family’s ability to pay according to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). The SSS is the standard entity used by most schools to evaluates a family’s financial status, based on its income, assets, and expenses, in order to determine a recommended amount of discretionary income a family should contribute toward a child’s education.
